Welcome to the Department of Transportation Services’ Online Waitlist Management web portal.
From this page you can learn about what a waitlist is, how DOTS manages those waitlists, and make your own waitlist requests for parking assignments on campus at the University of Maryland. Waitlists are open for any student, whether they are currently registered for campus parking privileges or not.
On this page you can make your eligible and ineligible lot requests, and also see what requests you are currently signed up for. You can always login again and add additional requests to your account, but you can only remove your requests by contacting DOTS at 301-314-DOTS.
To sign up for the waitlist, students must log into their parking account and follow the link where it says “Manage your waitlist position”.

WAITLIST INFO
What is a waitlist?
A waitlist allows you to sign up for a parking registration that you either are unable to sign up for because of your class standing or residence or because the lot has been closed for registration because it is at capacity. Waitlists are either an eligible waitlist or an ineligible waitlist, contingent on what lot you are attempting to sign up for and your class standing and residency information. Lot eligibility for the different classes and resident communities can be found in the DOTS
regulations.

How are waitlist requests honored and fulfilled?
Throughout the year, the DOTS surveys the parking lots and checks for availability and use. When spaces in particular lots become available, DOTS will contact the eligible waitlist requests first, and then the ineligible waitlist requests if spots are still available. Students will be contacted via the email that they provided for online waitlist and will be given at least 1 week to come into the DOTS office and purchase their new registration.
