Service Bus

Service Bus promotes student involvement in community service by providing discounted transportation for University of Maryland, College Park community service projects.

Service Bus supports University of Maryland, College Park student group community service projects requiring transportation to and from service sites. Student groups are invited to apply to use Service Bus for their community service projects during fall and spring semesters.

In order for an event to be a Service Bus, it must be a clearly defined community service program involving students. Service Bus values creating opportunity for students to engage in community service as well as education of those participating in the service. Greater support will be granted to service projects that integrate components of service-learning into the program.
