Single Game Permits

We strongly encourage all attendees to purchase game day parking permits in advance. There are 23 parking lots and 2 parking garages across campus that are available for football fans who purchased parking permits in advance.  Fans who arrive on campus on game day without a parking permit will only be able to purchase parking at available street-side meters or in Terrapin Trail Garage for $20 (where grilling and open fires are prohibited). The cost of a single game permit online is $17 and may only be purchased using credit/debit.

NOTE: Grills are not permitted in parking garages.

RV/Bus Parking

Location

RV parking is available in Lot 11b, located across from the XFINITY Center on Paint Branch Drive. The lot is labeled and shaded yellow on the Football Parking Map.

Hours & Availability

RV parking is available beginning on the Friday before game day. Entry to Lot 11b is permitted from 6 p.m. until midnight on Friday and the lot will reopen for entry no later than 9 a.m. on game day. Guests must depart by noon on the Sunday following the football game. Please note, purchasing a permit guarantees you a spot on Saturday with additional access on Friday dependent on availability. There is no water or sewer hookups in this lot.

Rates and Purchase

Parking can be purchased online before arriving to campus for $75 or can be purchased day of the game at the lot for $85, credit card only.

Guests may arrive and park in Lot 11b after 6 p.m. the Friday before the game dependent on availability. Please note: guests will not be guaranteed a spot if arriving on Friday. Guests will need to display their Saturday permit to remain in the lot when it opens Saturday morning.

Alternate Parking

Some guests may find it necessary or simply more convenient to park off campus. Cherry Hill Park is located just ten minutes from campus. Cherry Hill Park is unaffiliated with the University of Maryland. Reservations for Cherry Hill Park must be made online here.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking is available via the north entrance of Stadium Drive Garage. You may purchase an online permit for any football lot and display both your online prepay permit and your disabled license plate or placard. Purchase online prepay permit for $17. On-site parking permits for Handicap are also sold for $17.

Vehicles MUST have a disabled license plate or placard to enter a disabled parking area.  View the Football Parking Map to see where Stadium Drive Garage is located.

Requests for additional information regarding disabled parking and paratransit should be sent to transportation@umd.edu 72 hours prior to game day. The DOTS office can be reached by phone at 301-314-DOTS (3687) and is open Monday-Friday 8:15am to 4:00pm.

Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund Parking

Terrapin Club members receive game day parking permits by mail. Refer to the instructions provided on the back of the parking permit for directions to your parking area and visit the Terrapin Club website for additional information.

Season Ticket Holders

Season ticket holders receive game day parking permits through the athletics ticket office. Season ticket holders who wish to purchase additional parking permits may do through the link below which will be available in August.
