Employees

Employees planning to park on campus on game days for professional obligations MUST present their faculty/staff University ID to get into any non-Terrapin Club reserve areas. Attendants are instructed to check for ID's and admit at all lots except for 1, Z, JJ, SDG, ULG, Q, K2, M and R3. If your permit is for one of these lots, you may park in any other available lot WITH your UID.

If you do not have a faculty/staff University ID you must request an Access Permit from DOTS prior to the game day. Requests must be made in person at the DOTS office the Monday - Friday (8:15am - 4:00pm) before the football game. Faculty/Staff who teach classes on Saturdays are advised to remind their students to pick up Access Permits as well. Employees will have access to Regents Drive Garage or Terrapin Trail Garage if Regents Drive Garage is full.

Faculty/Staff who are unable to present their University ID at the time of arrival and do NOT have an Access permit may park in Mowatt Lane Garage (if space is available) or pay the prevailing rate for on-site parking in Terrapin Trail Garage. Paid on-street parking is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout campus.

Commuter Students

Commuter student parking registrations are not valid on game days. Students planning to park on campus on a football game day may park in Mowatt Lane Garage (as space is available) or pick up an Access Permit from DOTS prior to game day. Requests must be made in person at the DOTS office the Monday - Friday (8:15am - 4:00pm) before the football game. The Access Permit will be issued for Terrapin Trail Garage. Student IDs WILL NOT GRANT YOU LOT ACCESS to campus lots on game days.

Students who do not have an Access Permit on game days may park in Mowatt Lane Garage (if space is available), pay for lot access or pay to park at any available street meter. Parking permits may be purchased on-site at Terrapin Trail Garage. The cost of a single game permit is $20 and may only be purchased using credit/debit cards.

Resident Student Parking

Resident students assigned to lots 3, 5, and 11 MUST relocate from their assigned lot before home football games. We recommend you move your vehicle to Terrapin Trail Garage (Lot 6), Mowatt Lane Garage or Lot K7 if you need to relocate to another parking lot on campus. Please review the "Relocation and Towing" tab on the football parking page for parking requirements and recommendations.

Resident Students wishing to have a guest on campus on a game weekend should pre-purchase a gameday parking permit online or have their guest park in Mowatt Lane Garage (if space is available). Football permits will be valid for the specified lot starting at 4:00pm Friday evening prior to game day.  The permits expire the Monday following the game at 7:00am when normal campus parking enforcement resumes. Vehicles not relocated by 7:00am Monday will be cited.

Review the Football Parking Map before you pre-purchase your permit.

Visitor Parking

Visitors not attending the football game are required to purchase a football game day permit for the prevailing rate or may park in Mowatt Lane Garage (if space is available) at no charge. Paid on-street parking is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout campus. We do not recommend relying on paid on-street parking or availability inside Mowatt lane Garage due to the high volume of visitors that attend football games.

We encourage all attendees to pre-purchase game day parking permits online. Parking permits may be purchased on-site at Terrapin Trail Garage. The cost of a single game permit is $17 and may only be purchased using credit/debit.

Football parking permits will be valid starting the Friday evening prior to game day at 4:00pm through Monday at 7:00am. Those vehicles not relocated by 7:00am Monday will be cited. Game day set up and tailgating is permitted beginning 6 hours prior to tip off. Tailgating is not permitted after the game ends.

Review the Football Parking Map to determine which parking lot will work best for you.
